I am babysitting my two-year-old granddaughter and trying to catch up on a months worth of thank you's in between her questions and her needs that only GRAMPS can handle. We've talked about cut and paste before. You may possibly see this again.

This is a good depiction of what is done on the holiday by those who have a cabin and a boat. But most families do get together in some way.

This is such a happy poem! When I was young my parents and relatives made a huge deal out of Labor Day. We'd all gather for a picnic, games, lots of laughs and memory making.
These days I dread the thought of taking off on a last of summer trip. All the work to pack, all the traffic!
(I know, I'm getting old!) (I was old and now I'm OLDER!)

This is such a happy poem! When I was young my parents and relatives made a huge deal out of Labor Day. We'd all gather for a picnic, games, lots of laughs and memory making.
