Congratulations on your first milestone post. You're very brave attempting a contest right from the start, but hey, why not? Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. I could feel the emotion as I read. I noticed rhyming words as I read, but I didn't see a consistent rhyming pattern. Maybe it's just me. Good luck with the contest.

Thank you for your opinion. I do agree there are lines that do not rhyme. This good feedback for when I submit my next rhyme poem.

Wow this is a really journey from despair and into the light, as I read through I was worried for this person's destiny, the feeling of not wanting to live was so strong, but love shone through and brought back the light into life thankfully diminished the despair.
Very well written it really sucked me in, a great first post.

Wow this is a really journey from despair and into the light, as I read through I was worried for this person's destiny, the feeling of not wanting to live was so strong, but love shone through and brought back the light into life thankfully diminished the despair.
Very well written it really sucked me in, a great first post.
