This is a very poignant poem. It does leave the reader with hope which not all poems can do. It's good to be back in the light again I usually expression that they have in the Army I guess when I go to my brother's I have to go dark there's no internet. I do bring my Kindle so I have something to do. Once in a while I get to interview my brother for the next chapter.

We've hired these ladies that come in twice a week to visit him and clean things up and it's working good. They're basically me. I can stay home.

What a beautiful poem for Nomi and Yvonne. This is the second one I read for them. You always have the best prayers. I like the meaning of Yvonne's name. I'm sure Nomi appreciates all the poems in their honor.

My aunt got pancreatic cancer and died very fast. It can be a blessing in disguise if you you get terminal cancer.

That's sad. But at least she got to say goodbye. Nomi didn't think anything was wrong when he went to bed.

I'm so sorry about Yvonne's passing, and Nomi's heartbreaking loss. Never knowing quite what to say or do, I'm never good in these situations, but it's nice there are those like you who can offer aiding words of comfort. A good Christian believer, Nomi can take solace in God's word. He and Yvonne will know each other as here on earth and be together again soon. Thanks for sharing.
