Thank you for sharing this tribute to your dad as a rhyming contest entry. I enjoyed reading. I can tell you were very lucky to have a wonderful dad. I wonder if today's children will be able to write a similar poem about their dad. Good luck with the contest.

The first two lines of your poem are the best two lines of yours that I have read in a long time. If you could have continued with that rhythm, you would have had a gem. Read those two lines over and over, and you will see what I mean.
