I've got to quite writing shorts and get back to the story. I was afraid I was rushing some of the readers because my readership has dropped on the novel. But as long as someone enjoys it, I'll keep on writing.

So Alejandro has been foiled, and it looks like Carlos is learning that his son will never change, unless he's brought to a screaming halt, that's the trouble with thinking that one can walk on a knife's edge, they won't prosper, as Jose will find out, well done Carol, blessings Roy

Yes, things didn't go as Jose thought they would, but then he had no idea of consequences.... Daddy always fixed it for him if it wasn't right. This time... the stakes were high.

You do a brilliant job of weaving action in your chapters, Carol, which is what makes your writing so engaging. I loved the dialogue between Angelo and Carlos which created a real sense of menace. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

thanks so much, Ulla. The next chapter gets rocky but after that I think it will be a little smoother sailing at list for a while. Maybe I might sprinkle in a little love potion but I haven't thought it through just yet.

I'm glad Angelo helped Alejandro; I'm sure that Jose will be happy, though. Perhaps Angelo should dump his phone as well? We seem to be clearing up some mess now, but Angelo will be in a big hurry to get back to Naomi. He might deny it, but I think he loves her.
Now that Carlos has learnt his son will never change, he is ready to send him to the police. And the cherry on the top is Angelo is free from Carlos and won't be bothered again. Another lovely, well written chapter. Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Yes, it is too bad but things might change and he'll be able to go home again soemtime, but he's probably safer in Canada. LOL thanks for reading and enjoying...don't bite the nails too much though.
