Going to have to keep an eye wide open for these little details about all the "improvements" being made. Places are always making changes whether they are needed or not.

This piece, St. Mary's Changes Part 1, introduces the readers to the wider photo-story concerning this important updating of this historic site in Sydney.

LOL I guess I read the first one out of order. So sorry. I have a really bad habit of doing that. I start at the top of my PM box. I need to start at the bottom. Thank you for sharing. I am enjoying the ride.

Changes are always challenging. Hopefully, it will be a blend of old and new. Maintaining the history of a building is important. Once I can use the volume on my computer I will watch your video. Good to see you back. Gretchen

It's sad when I see so much of my city crumbling under the claw of a bulldozer, with no thought about the history that came with those walls. I am glad to see that in your story, some of it is being preserved. Well done.

Thanks very much. Yes Heritage listing does a lot of that preservation.

This is quite interesting. I love how some of the existing structure needs to stay for historical reasons it reat gives more character and story base for the building once it's done.
Well done keep up the great work!!!

Thanks Nicki. Not sure we have met before. This is the first time I have done this sort of thing on Fanstory. Tom is happy if I do stories with videos. Stay tuned for more.

I needed to add this to the rambles book so not sure where it will come up in the chapters. This Metro will be run on a different voltage to all the other Metros. Thing is, eventually, this metro will be connecting to the current South West metro that has just got through to Sydenham from Tallawong and will also be through to Bankstown end of next year. I will write about the new metro stations that have just opened from Chatswood, across (under)the harbour to Sydenham.
