I don't know if I would have pouted before punching out if the sildenafil did what I wanted to do, especially if I got to share the resulting results, if you know what I mean.

What? Boner death is appealing? Ha!

Better to go endowed than flaccid, I would think.

One step forward, three back. So Chapman is no longer a suspect. But, just because he wasn't there on the day, doesn't mean he didn't have a hand in it. And can Cathy be trusted? (small edit Cath(a)y caught herself then made a zipper motion across her lips). And could Art Arnica fill Chapman's place on the suspect list? You keep us guessing, Doug. Thank you for sharing this ever enjoyable read. Debbie

Well perhaps he was absent-minded, and overdosed on the blue pills -r perhaps thought they were sleeping tablets - or someone told him they were. These smart ladies will soon get to the bottom of it, I am sure!

Douglas, how on earth are you able to accurately replicate the tone of a group of busybody women so well? Completely believable!
I had some corrections for you but noted they'd been all caught by previous reviewers.
Great job and very entertaining mystery (anything involving the little blue pill is likely to be amusing! Even death, apparently)

Fantastic, my friend, as the plot thickens. So Harold Chapman is off the crime board for now? He's too obvious. Wow, death by Viagra. That's a hard one.

Girlfriend is one word these days; whereas best friend remains two words for now, anyway. Bestie works if you want one word. ;))

A great story of the senior sleths as it unfolds.
Sending along my very best today as always.
Sal :)) xo

Thank you, Sally! Not sure if that pun was intentional but I choked on my coffee reading this.

Just love the nicknames of your characters Douglas, with precursor to identify their character, instead of the tiresome long explainable for their propensity, this is beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy
Typo : (Cathay) caught herself. Cathy?

They just keep gaining new members. IF someone died by taking a erectile dysfunction pill I would think they took it willing even though they might have taken it for the lady with the missing earring, I want what Art wants.

I love this story, it is right up my alley. I was going to write one with 3 or 4 parts. That's as far as I can stretch things out. I am a short story writer. And right now I am a humorous writer. I will get bloody again I am sure. Nice writing here. Karen

I seem to be giving justice in many different ways. Folks here like the blood. What does that say about us I wonder? :-)

The plot gets thicker, but the more people in on the secret the more it becomes not a secret. This is going to get really interesting. I can't wait to read more.

She gave it some thought."Hmmmm . . . (space needed after the period)

"I'm so disappointed in you. Hattie." (you, Hattie.")

"That's the medical term for Viagra." Hattie revealed, barely unable to hide her excitement. (Viagra,")

Wait? I thought you gave this a five star? You gave me two in a week? You know . . . someone is going to accuse you of playing favorites!
    Thank you!

Hmmm... it's almost midnight, and half the house is in Hattie's room... and now what does Art want? You are moving right along, Doug, and of course, I am enjoying every chapter. Way to go! Thanks for sharing. Happy writing!
Smiles and hugs, Carol
