Staying and holding on to hope is all that some people have. Things aren't always a pretty picture. Behind doors Things can get ugly, but that hope keeps looking up a better picture

Yes, very true. We are looking up, we are longing for Him to return, awaiting the full redemption of our salvation and establishment of righteousness, justice and peace, and for the whole of creation to be restored.

This is a nice five-seven-five, Roy. You set the stage in the first two lines, and then bring us to hope in the final line. I like the red sky of the picture you chose. I do sense that creation is groaning these days, and there are wonderful reasons to look to the heavens, with the auroras visible here several times this week. Blessings. Carol

This is a very powerful poem, which to me speaks of faith on the redemption plan of Jesus Christ. Well written and well presented. One of the few times I gave no pause in giving a six star to a very short poem.
