I like the varied and stinky lines of your limerick. This was a fun poem that made the ten year old in me giggle and the sixty-three year old wrinkle my nose. This was very funny and lighthearted. Gretchen

A funny little limerick, well written. The little skunk in the picture sure looks unhappy, but the poem is fun to read. The author's note outlines the rhyme scheme. Evi

Ah yes, the war against the deadbeat. My friend has five rental houses. That is his biggest problem, since covid. He couldn't evict them and couldn't get back what he lost. They destroy the paint, don't mow, and ruin the neighborhood. But, there are some really good ones.

It's a good limerick. i'm kind of stuck on the meaning. Is it because the English currency is more valuable that the landlord wanted the rent paid in English currency? Anyway, a fun poem.

Hi Roy,
What a fun limerick centered around a skunk. I don't think it's symbolism, just a fun poem. Nothing wrong with that. Now, if it's symbolic of some trend in society, I don't know what to say, lol.
Take care,
Rhonda

Thank you for sharing this adorable Limerick with us. I enjoyed reading. I have heard skunks make great pets if one gets them de-skunked. I'm not sure about that personally.

Very funny limerick that has a nice rhythm and rhyme to it. The bold colors are also quite striking. It "reeks" of good humor. Lol
God blessings Thanks for the laugh.
