Wow, Rhonda, this is an amazing story. It is just a miracle that you not only survived, but you were also healed. God certainly has His hand on you. Thanks for sharing your story. Blessings. Carol

Hi Carol,
Thank you so much for your review. God definitely did have His eyes and hand on me. It's funny, but I wrote this post a week before I got to see the other end of watching someone taken off in an ambulance, actually for Wayne, it was in a helicopter. It's a helpless and terrifying feeling.
Hugs,
Rhonda

When my husband was in the hospital, I used to watch the helicopters land on the roof, bringing in patients. Some days it was almost non-stop. Yes, it is a bit terrifying.

Wow, I guess I never realized just how many get transported that way. It's great it's available, because as far as we live from Dallas, Wayne would never have made it in the 3 hour window of stroke recovery if we would have had an ambulance weaving in and out of traffic.

Oh, Rhonda, it's amazing you actually survived this but, like everyone else close to you, I'm so happy that you did and are now able to tell the story. As you say, a bull, even a tame one, is still a bull. You were one lucky girl. Hugs, Ulla xxx
PS, I'm still working on my contribution. It will be out in the next few days.

Dear Ulla,
Thank you so much for the second six stars!! You're the best. I can't wait to read your story. Take your time. I know some things are really hard to write about. It was difficult for me to write about Wayne, but figured I'd better do it before I chickened out.
Big hugs,
Rhonda

You know, somehow, I think it has helped you as well. To write a out it I mean. Please keep me updated how Wayne is doing. Hugs back. Ulla xx

You're right it does. I was so exhausted last night when I finished, like a balloon with the air let out, I just dropped my head on the table my laptop is one and rested a while before I could get up and get ready for bed (the recliner chair thing they brought in for me to sleep on).
Thanks for your hugs and support!!!!

Bless you!!!

OMG! Rhonda, you are certainly keeping God busy! I can't believe you survived that, so it goes to show, God does listen and acts on our prayers. How, with everything that goes on in your life, do you manage to write such amazing fantasy stories? I for one, am very grateful for God's presence. This was a lovely story, thank you for sharing it with us. Love and hugs, my friend. Sandra xxx

Sandra, we survive what we have to, you know. But, God's grace sees us through so much. I know you understand that more than many.
Love and hugs back,
Rhonda

Rhonda,
Your story is very moving, I'm sorry you had to go through so much pain! I have had a harrowing experience which I hope I can add as a chapter.
I love that you live in a rural area, I know animals can really bring one closer to God. In your case in a different way.
You have such faith in God; mine sometimes falters, but he never lets me down.
Wonderful story!
Blessings and best wishes,
Cindy
And another prayer for Wayne.

Hi Cindy,
Thank you for the review and honest comments. I love the remark about animals bringing us closer to God. I agree in both cases, lol. I love the animals, even the cows, but from them, I've learned to keep my distance.
I would love it if you would add your story to the book. At some point, I'll add Wayne's Story to it, however, his story is still being written so I'll wait a bit.
Take care,
Hugs,
Rhonda

The moral of the story is don't go up against a bull. You pulled me right into the story with the first crack of your chin. I cringed when you got the second blow to the jaw. Then, the minutes of waiting for medical help and your recovery period and surgeries. I could imagine your husband's agony while he was waiting. Very well written. gayla

Hi Gayla,
Thank you very much for the review, my friend. It wasn't my finest moment, for sure. But, sometimes those are the times that define us, for sure.
Have a great weekend,
Rhonda

You are definitely a survivor! What a wonderful story of God helping you to stay alive, even though you went through excruciating suffering. But yes, having seen God at work, and having suffered, you are able to pray with, you definitely have a ministry of empathy and compassion for others. Very well written.
A super chapter for the book.

HI Wendy,
Thank you so much for your review, my friend!! It was tough to go through, but it's a life experience now to chalk up to the many others have to share.

Thank you for sharing your story.
Every professional who saw me ... Did you change POV? The story began with a man's wife getting kicked in the head.
Best wishes.

I did change POV, that's why I put in the dividing line to show a change. I can change it later if it doesn't work. Thank you for bringing it up,
Take care,
Rhonda

You really are a walking miracle! And you're a testimony that God answers prayers even ones that can't be quite uttered because of the circumstances because the Holy Spirit understands beyond words and Jesus intercedes for us. You're amazing! Thanks for sharing this story!

Helen, that's a really good point you made about the Holy Spirit stepping in even when you can't utter the words, yourself, and about the intervention of Jesus. That perfectly says it, my friend,
Hugs,
Rhonda

Oh my goodness, what a terrifying story this is Rhoda and what a brave and courageous soul you are! You are a survivor and I admire your tenacious spirit as you had fought back to retain good health. This must have been such a traumatic time for you and then you also had intentional surgery as well. Keep on fighting girl. Your story is heartfelt and honest, thank you for sharing this tale with us, love Dolly x x x

HI Dolly,
Thank you so much for the supportive review. Yes, I went through a lot for two years, but now it's stories to tell of survival. I hope they encourage someone else going through their own struggles!!
Love and hugs,
Rhonda

Hi Marilyn,
Thank you so much for the lovely six stars, and for the compassionate review!
We raise black angus, though there are a few red one scattered in. This bull was just a yearling, and about 600 pounds. He's a big old boy now (I still know the man who bought him, lol). Yeah, I'm a city girl who married into the farm life. My reflexes are getting better, though I'm not sure how that one would have been avoided. I just plain don't help load cattle anymore. I'll go in the pasture, but if they start getting close, I back off. Wayne wanders through them like they were kittens.
Thanks so much,
Rhonda
