As I've often said, when it comes to poetry, I wouldn't know a sonnet from sorbet. But even I can't help but appreciate and enjoy such an outstanding poem and picture combination. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your Blue Ribbon award winning poem.

Thank you for your review, Ric. I'm still kind of blindly wandering my way through this strange and complex world of poetry, myself; hoping to learn a little as I go. I appreciate your kind words and congratulations. John

Sometimes God paints solitary, serene scenes that seem to be only for our individual inspiration before it is gone. A very appropriate photo and enhanced by your words.

Thanks, Jim. I haven't thought of it that way, but I believe you're right. I think that God specifically places evidence of His beautiful creation in our path. We just have to have eyes to see. I appreciate your review.

God's ways are not hard. We just need to break off our hard part to know it.

Hello John,
I like the way snow looks when it falls in someplace other than here. When I see it on my driveway and sidewalk, I see cold work, and lots of it. I guess I could do like a lot of people do and find a warmer climate for the winter, but that's an extra expense and entails a lot of planning, so for now, I'll just keep the snow blower gassed up.
Have a blessed day.

Thanks, Tom. Living in the South, I've probably never seem more than 3 or 4 inches of snow at one time, so we don't really get the snowplow effect and the extended slush that comes along with it. Two things I don't miss in my old age is "expense" and "planning." I try to avoid both and stay happy as a clam. And sometimes it actually works...but not that often. Appreciate the review. Blessings to you.
