Perhaps some trees "hate" humans but I think they express their emotions quite differently from us. After all, they take forever to take one breath and they stand on their brains and connect with their world under the soil.
A fun poem!
Happy Birthday, Jake!

Trees leaves please
Breeze dance through branches,
Nature's calm sighs.

So do they fear us, hate us, or are we so far outside of their comprehension we are mayflies gone in a season.
I love your haiku.

This is an unusual post and I think trees love us, we trim them and allow them to root without disturbing them, we also protect them with laws and allow them freedom, an unusually post, love Dolly x x x
