I can't help but think they have set Danielle up as the cause of Noah's death. Just mentioning that her brother killed their parents and another member of the cult is going to make her look suspicious.

Hi Jacob, have I missed a chapter where the body was identified on the lawn? But, poor old Noah! No wonder poor Danielle's in a state of shock after what she's gone through in her childhood. This is getting more and more mysterious. And why would the police feel they have to speak to Danielle? What has Oliver been telling them. By the way, I'm so glad you're back from that convention in one piece. You're far too dignified for that bunch of rabble-rousers (Carol and I excluded). Now on to my next chapter. This is great! Thanks, Jacob. Debbie

Thank you, Debbie, yes, there was definitely a lot happening, I don't think the hotel will welcome us back next year, lol. I'm pleased that you enjoyed it.

I'm not convinced Noah made it out of the window by himself. I have a feeling he had help. I wonder what Danielle is going to tell the police. I'm sure Oliver and Mary are listening. I really like this story.

I don't think there much she could tell about Noah. She heard a scream and saw his body. I hope Max can help her. It seems people are upset that Noah is dead. They didn't seem to be expecting it. Nicely written always leaving us with more questions.

Jacob,

You have a wonderful novel in the making. How many more chapters do you have before you're done? As usual you have me sitting on the edge with this chapter. It leaves me wanting more. Great job. Keep them coming. I'm dying to find out what happened to Noah. Curious comment Grace makes about being left alone with the police.

Sorry I'm all over the place. Where can I find the beginning of the book? I would like to know more about the characters and why the majority of them are locked in their rooms. What type of facility are they living at?

One more thing. I noticed that you have what should be quotation marks around the spoken words. Question is; why do they have {' vs "}? Not sure if it's on purpose or not.

My suspicious mind makes me wonder if this is a set-up and if the police are fakes. But then Oliver didn't want to go, so if they were real, would Danielle say anything to them? Questions upon questions.
Keep me guessing, Jacob! Well done!
Smiles, Carol
