Hi Bill,
That reminds me of Washington Irving's novel, "Rip Van Winkle", the man who slept for 20 years and couldn't believe all the changes.
I believe Donald Trump fooled a lot of people. He told them what they wanted to hear. And now he's rounding up migrants who he feels are all criminals. But they aren't. Some are, perhaps. But not the majority. And that reminds me of Hitler, rounding up Jews in 1938 Germany. It's too late to take back votes. It will be a new world order very soon. Biden is old. Trump dodged court proceedings. The world is still spinning, but slightly off center!

Today Trump proposed "recession" posting, which means he assigns, with no voting or vetting, department heads and other positions, as when Congress is in recess.

Crazy stuff, eh Bill? I listened to some of it on CNN. People aren't too happy with one of his choices... Florida Representative Matt Gaetz to lead the Justice Department! They'll try to talk him out of it.

I fell asleep while several key states were still being contested and woke to hear Trump giving an acceptance speech, thinking I was having a bad dream. Your poem has described that feeling perfectly. The nightmare is real~again!

I wrote a poem that I am most proud of out of all the poems I have ever written. The point and or main message of the poem is that you may het by, but you do not get away. Hitler, Stalin, and so many other men of dubious acclaim, they all got by, but none got away. It may take years, but in the end they get what is their due. The troubling thing that we their victims must deal with is, how to survive until they are removed like a stubborn stain on humanity.

Yes, it will spin in a crazy way. Fortunately, God is still in control, and He will remove Trump when the time is right. I can't believe that with his lack of integrity, his record of lies and criminal activities, and with his overt desire to be totally controlling, that so many would vote for him. Beyond my understanding.

Excellent use of words to capture the post election day. I like your last line "and the world will spin eccentrically." It certainly will. Apparently if you commit a crime and become president, you are free from justice as your poem states.

This is well written, and I enjoyed listening to it. I do hope you're right in that fact that the Donald Trump will be freed from justice. It only stands the reason that those cases were gonna be thrown out against him anyway. Patricia.
