Hauntingly themed, this story about an elderly man being drawn every evening to the lighthouse only to be finally, if briefly, reunited with his late wife is well structured, clearly written without error and a pleasure to read. Well done and good luck! Debbie

This is a terrific story that kept my interest throughout because (1) you set the scene so well at the beginning, describing Bernard's nightly ritual, (2) you describe him so well that October evening when he sees the young woman and runs to her and (3) you make us wonder at the end if he saw a ghost or if he has dementia.
