It reminds me of places I often visited while riding my horse in the mountains around Donner Lake. Your skill with meter and rhyme are evident throughout this poem. What a wonderfully busy day it's been down at the brook! These late autumn days have been extremely warm. But it's only 32 degrees here today. So winter is coming. Thank you for making me smile I'm glad the dragonfly survived the frog attack.
