Excellent selection for this contest. The middle stanza feels a bit weaker than the others but not enough to change the overall enjoyment of the poem or give the impression that any major changes are needed. It works as is

Thank you for the review, Helps a lot and tells me to keep writing. The only person I have been angry with has been myself at times in the past. As a Veterinarian any patient that died unexpectedly made me angry, what I should have done better. Glad to say few and far between.

This is a great poem. You nailed anger and all it's ugly heads. Nothing good comes from anger. The only thing it does is eat you alive. Sometimes, you have to be the bigger person and walk away.

Anger never serves any purpose and only causes tension and nothing is resolved when someone loses their temper. I was once on a flight when a man lost his temper with his wife when she wanted to get the sandwiches out of the case in the overhead locker! A simple request, but it turned into all out war on the flight. I was sat opposite the couple and the man behaved so badly. His wife was patient and was obviously used to this display of temper. I felt sorry for her. I enjoyed your poem, love Dolly x x x
