Even though some haven't gone through what you have we all have much to be grateful to God for. Our tradition at Thanksgiving is that before the family begins the feast we each state what we have to be grateful for. You have chosen a lovely image to go with your wonderful words.

I appreciated reading this poem. What a cool form. I had not heard of it before. How awesome to be able to name the Lord and referring back to him 3 more times. This certainly sets an example and a high standard to try for when it comes to faith-based poetry.

I love your spaceship poems! This one is very timely as we grow nearer to our national Day of Thanksgiving. It is not a day just to stuff ourselves, but, as you say, a day to give thanks to The Lord for all He has given us.
