When we were first married, we lived in an older farmhouse in the countryside of Missouri. We heated with would. My first three boys were born there. The third one died. The cold wind blew through that house. We learned where to stand to avoid the wind. LOL Thank you for bringing back those memories with this poem. I can laugh, now, pretty sure I wasn't laughing then.

You just described my weekend. I went to a tree lighting on Saturday night. Cold and some wind made it quite chilly but thankfully they had firepits and I stayed right there. You set a real mood with this. Brrrr! Gretchen

Each of us who enjoys a fire in the fireplace can relate to this poem. The hot and cold continue clashing, and at times we stop chatting near the fireplace and simply watch the flames.

It is dark a lot here. Instead of it being dark between 9-10pm, it is pitch dark at 6pm. Creepy. Karen

Thank you very much, big sister. It's been a long time since the last renga book I created and I forgot what a pain in the butt it is. LoL it's a lot of work to get it started but it will go get easier.
I hope you add a chapter. We are up to a dozen since Saturday!
