I like this image of the lighted path through frozen firs and I take this 5-7-5 poem as a metaphor for finding our path through life. Sometimes we do feel frozen in time but always, there is a path forward. I enjoyed this pom and wish you luck in the contest.

This is very odd...I can see it now on my iPhone but it is still missing on my PC.

When I sent my first comment this morning,I was on my computer and I noticed it was missing.
I read your first reply on my iPhone and went to check if it was there.... so most probably it was always on my iPhone.

Cool picture! Or should I say beyond "cool" for the "frozen firs". Great use of alliteration and consonance. It's good that the path is viewable even in all that ice and snow. Best wishes in the contest!

I love the imagery in your poem! The way you've described the path and the frozen firs is wonderful. The three lines really lets the reader focus on the moment. I can almost feel the cold and quiet. Beautiful work!

The street lights and the image in general gives your poem and eerie glow. Lonely frozen pathway, in the dark in winter gives this a silent night quality.
