This rondeau, I Pray for You, has the proper formatting and includes many members of whom your poem of strength and hope has surely touched. Thank you, Helen, for your prayerful concern.

Hi Helen,
Thanks so much for mentioning my wife and son. I appreciate it.
Your poem asks for prayer for healing of various Fanstorians and/or their family members. And every prayer counts.
Poor Matthew. My wife was just talking to him on the phone. The doctor now has him on 5 different drugs. He's having a difficult time with all these drugs messing up his body at the same time. I could understand one, or maybe even two. But five?
Excellent Rondeau poem! I especially like the repeated line,
"I pray for you."
Thanks again!
Blessings,
Kimbob

Oh no! The multiple drugs is a problem. I hope a pharmacist is carefully monitoring these drugs. Will be praying for Matthew. Thanks again for the super review and rating. Hugs!

Thanks for praying for him, Helen. He really needs it right now. He's lost weight. We're taking him care packages now, and also seasons of "Frasier"... some light delightful comedy. He's enjoying them, already into season 3. We have them all in DVDs.
Hugs,
Kimbob

Hello Helen,
thanks so much for mentioning the needs of some of our fellow members. As you mentioned, I'm sure this is just the tip of the iceberg. I know that you suffer with neck problems, and no doubt there are many who we don't know who also are dealing with health issues. It goes with the territory of aging I guess. I love your compassionate heart gal. Thanks so much for sharing.
Have a blessed day.

You said it perfectly. It is just the tip of the iceberg and I cannot know them all. You probably know others I don't know. Thanks for your caring heart, Tom, and for your prayers and calls and keeping in contact with those able to keep writing. Hugs!

Thank you for this beautiful rondeau and call to prayer. Some of these I did not know and I will certainly add them to my prayers today.
My eyes have declined so much I've had to cut back on reviewing. I've fallen steadily down the ranks this year but do what I can. My book chapters are a full time job for me but I enjoy them so much. My husband is helping proofread and helped with today's poem. I don't see those little goofs these days.
Thank you, again, gpfor keeping us in the prayer loop.
Blessings to you all.

Thanks so much for the super rating, Sally. You and Jackson are a fantastic team! I'm glad you can keep writing together. We have some faithful praying friends here. They are happy to keep lifting you up. Hugs!

A lovely prayer in this Rondeau form, Helen, as you think of all those who are battling health issues or who are the carers for loved ones. It always seems worse to deal with at this time of the year. Beautifully said from your generous heart,

We really are a bunch of decrepits. There is also Jesse James Doty with his recovery from surgery to get back use of his legs, Jim Vecchio with his multiple biopsy's.
Karenia with her issues, Patcelaw is still recovering from her heart surgery, Tim Margetts was nerve damage in his legs and it gives him no end of trouble, and me with 24/7 pain. Most of us are limping along doing the best we can. I still say this place saved me. Karen

Thanks so much, Karen! I know - I could keep going and my brain can store only so much that's why we need each other. Please feel free to add your own post. When Jesse's surgery approaches, we could do a post for him then. Jessi is having surgery in about 10 days. Hugs!

I was thinking, what if we took turns posting an update on all the folks we knew that needed special prayers and kind wishes
once a week. that way when they read it they could add more. And we could keep everyone updated. Have a think and talk it over with others. I will too. Karen

Hmm. Well, I do have a book out already and it's a multi-author one. I started it during the pandemic. So if you want, you can always add an update there. https://www.fanstory.com/displaystory.jsp?id=974638

That's a good idea. Remind everyone and I will too. This will do the trick. Karen

I gladly join you in prayer for those listed. May I add Dawn Munroe to the list? She has embarked on a journey of treatment for her cancer diagnosis. Evi

Thank you so much, Evi! I've attributed your request to you in my notes to pray for Dawn. I don't know her as well so I'm glad you are in contact with her. Hugs!

This was a wonderful and very thoughtful poem and notes, Helen, about many of our FanStorians who are dealing with health problems or family tragedies. I guess in an aging population such as we have here, it's not unexpected, but we still hate hearing about it. Maybe that's why so many of us write--to try and forget for a while all the things that might be ailing us.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem and for your kind words to all those who can use them.

Thanks so much, Jim! And we also write so that we leave some part of us behind for our loved ones. But it's wonderful we have friends who care about what we write here. Hugs!

May God continuously wrap you in His loving arms and bless your and your loved ones. You have been a true blessing to this website, as you care for and pray for others. Thank you for letting us know who is in most need of prayer. I am praying for you and joining you in prayer for peace, love, joy, prosperity and Divine healing during this season and the coming year, for all of our FanStory family.

Thank you so much, Lorraine! You have been such a blessing to me! And I know only a small percentage of the Fanstory family. Some writers I don't ever cross paths with so this is a most incomplete list. I won't be as active next year so I sent you an email. Hugs!

I, too, know of several on FS who have not reached out to others with their current issues and I pray with you for them and for all the others that you have listed. I believe that prayer helps and often miracles and other blessings come from it.
Smiles and hugs, Carol
