So it seems that Kendra has got all of heart desires, mostly of the the heart, the uncatchable Ethan and a future that promises so much more than she could ever hope for, and we, the readers have the happy ending we were hoping for, well done Carol, merry Christmas, blessings Roy

I knew you wouldn't let me down. I've been smiling since chapter 6, expecting a romantic happy ending. I was caught off guard when James showed up at the gala, but Caroline dominated his attention. Good.
This seemed like the perfect Hallmark movie, with drama, suspense. suspicion, and finally, joy. The ending was totally delightful.

This is a totally delightful ending to a very fun story. And I have lost 2 of my sixth stars to you tonight. Oh well, it's worth it. You need to get this story published also. It's too sweet to not be shared. What's the word total?

As I've said more times than I'm sure you have cared to hear, I love everything you write, but I must admit that this is my favorite story yet! I enjoyed your earlier story, and gave it my last six. But now I'm mad at myself, because anything but a six for this fantastic piece is a kick in the teeth. Thanks for sharing. Have a great time in North Carolina, and a very Merry Christmas!

Keep pouring it on, my dear. I never get tired of hearing that someone loves my stories. I pour my heart and soul into them and pray that someone enjoys them. YOU are the best! Thanks for being on my team... supporting me all the way.
Smiles, Carol

I shall, my dear Carol,
award you a six for a messily sloppy romantic end to the tale.
I knew you could get it finished in time for your trip away. Well done.
You have an amazing time away for the holidays and don't forget to pack your pen and pad so you can keep on writing.
Talking of which. I need to put fingers to keyboard and do some work too.

Oh, Tim, I love the glitter of the stars you have generously blessed my "romantically, messy and sloppy story." You are so kind, and I pray that your holiday is filled with joy and many blessings. As for fingers to keyboards, mine aren't quite done yet, either.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

A fine ending - and quite unexpected. I am glad you finished it before heading off for Christmas celebrations! I am glad too that James also found someone! A beautiful romance story, start to finish.

What extra words? This was perfectly fine...and your adorable barefoot wedding added an extra romantic and charming twist!
All's well that ends well!
Nice that James and Caroline hit it off. We can be doubly happy for two happy endings!
Travel safely, have a wonderful Christmas!

Wehn I saw it hit over 3000 I thought I might get some kick back...but I guess I lucked out. I couldn't end it without everything wrapping up perfectly...like romances are suppose to do. Now I've posted two stories about Eleanor and friends and Christmas Eve.... and I'm writing two more for tomorrow morning. Just teasers for the book to come in January... tossing out a few hints and seeing if anyone likes particular things or not. I leave early tomorrow and am looking forward to it. If I don't get to talk with you...know that I am thinking of you always.... Merry Christmas with love...Carol

Oh, yes, those extra words were well worth it! Great story. I'm glad you finished writing it for us. I love that everyone was barefoot at the wedding. Perfect ending to a very romantic story. Blessings. Carol

How are you so prolific, Carol? I can't keep up. But this is another great write from your talented pen. It had looked like Kendra had fallen between two stools with both James and Ethan seemingly occupied. But with some gentle coaxing, Ethan realised that he must act urgently to save the relationship. There followed a wonderful reunion and a subsequent marriage in which the barefoot theme would, romantically, bind them together forever. Well done! Enjoy your holidays, Carol. Warm wishes Debbie

Carol,
What a perfect ending to a perfect novella. The extra words I didn't even notice. I think it perfect that you ended the story in their bare feet. Just the way it all started. Brilliant my friend.
Well done my friend
