Wow! You experienced lots of disappointment, loneliness, and trauma during this time of year. It sounds as though you've spent a lifetime fighting people and situations so you could survive peacefully. You experienced many difficulties, but I'm glad for all the good things that happened in your life, and appreciate your final message that we all suffer hardships, but should be grateful for our blessings.

I am sorry to hear you have suffered from mental illness and loneliness. It is hard to look after yourself when you need support from others. I learned to be independent as a child as I only had me to rely on and this has stood me in good stead in old age as I once again live alone. The world outside can be cruel. I am pleased to hear you have made changes and connections in your life and I wish you a Happy New Year Donna, love Dolly x x x

Wow! Here is a six to compensate a bit of those dark times you had to survive while trying to live your life. Being alive and able to remember and go on is a gift that may sometimes make you wince, but is always better than the alternative.

Hello Dove. I enjoyed reading your account of your past Christmases and all of the different types of interactions you had. I agree that the Nativity had some bitter sweetness to it and no matter what the challenges were, they persevered through them. Well done.,
