I could feel the amazement Timmy was feeling in this moment. That's what we try to do as writers as well, we try to make things come to life and I've always thought it takes a lot of time and effort to make that happen. A well written piece, Carol, I enjoyed reading it.

What a charming children's story, Carol.
Just be careful not to mix up the characters from your children's tales with those from your murder and mayhem.
That could make for a very different tale of crime and gangsters or a scary fable in the style of the original works of the Brothers Grimm.

Don't have any sixes left but this was good enough for one, as most of your writing is. You described the way a real artist sees the world as Timmy saw when the frog explained it to him. Writing is like that also. It can lay there as a series of words that tell a story. Then it can come alive as the words illuminate the story.
