Your poems always send my mind soaring. I read them one time and marvel at your word choices. Then I start reflecting on your meaning. I always see so many. I'm going to take this one literally. I like those haunting wolf calls being referred to as " calls for unity." That's just such an insightful way of looking at a wolf call. Others hear it as an "I'm coming to get you" sound, but you are right. Then the 'family' can come and get you.
I could go on. You are masterful, Yvette.

YES!! So glad you saw the thought and feeling in this one... always loved wolves and learned all about them years ago... so much that surrounds them is simply myth: tight and family-knit, that's what they are... accepting even of the 'lame' and the other 'not so normal'... :) Good to see your shining face! ;) Yvette

Yvette,
What a wonderful Renga poem. Those three lines send a very powerful message. Pack is indeed family and they don't have to be blood. I find my friends are truer to the pack than my own family. The picture you chose is absolutely beautiful.
I am a big nature lover as you know and wolves are one of my all time favorite. Doesn't mean I'd want to face them head on though. Admire from a distance.
Well done
Cecilia

A little dark maybe but the end result is wonderful, wolves of any description do hunt in packs, for themselves, self-survival, very well written and presented****kahpot

Yes, I guess ewe humans could be called packs, we only welcome those that have the same scent, looks and preferential thinking, but then, nobility has a place in inclusivity, but we tend to be exclusive, beautifully written Yvette, clever girl, blessings Roy

Oh, I love the message in this 5-7-5 renga poem. The pack is family. If you mess with me you get the Bros! I had five brothers and one sister, so I understand. Mama was very protective of all of us. Wonderfully written with your magical touch, my friend. Sending you my best today as always.

That was really good, Yvette. I'll have to see what followed yours. This is such a great way to learn to write these little ones, and to learn the rules. I enjoyed yours, and love the picture. Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Another wolf theme used here in a renga. I think it's great you could get a three-syllable rhyme or near-rhyme with unity/family in such a short space.
What an attractive presentation you created.

There is strength in numbers when it comes to warding off enemies. Your follow up to the 7/7 was great. Let's hope we see unity in the new year instead of having people ganging up against rivals. A beautiful presentation, great artwork choice. judi

-Great artwork and nice presentation, Yvette.
-You wrote a good poem about it.
-A very good opening line, followed
by a very good reason why they
need to be unified.
-A very good satori line.
-A good addition to the book.
