I think it's an amazing thing to be able to dream, the philosophers have been thoughtfully tried to set we humans apart from the other creatures, but our self awareness sets us apart, well done Lisa,, blessings Roy

Drifting lazily through the mind and losing ones self beneath the stars and the glorious moon. Now, that's exactly where I would want to be. And the crackling fire glowing in the dark. Touches all the senses.

This two-line poem, Sweet Dreams, has the proper formatting and speaks to the magic and freedom experienced in the light of the biggest moon of the year.

I am happy you contributed to the Renga Book. It's an excellent chapter. The poem has the right composition. Beautiful presentation and imagery. Good syllables and connection between lines. Do you mind adding the author notes below? Thank you :)

HOW TO WRITE A RENGA POEM:

It's very important to LINK your Renga stanza to the previous stanza keeping the same theme and season of the year.

First copy and paste this link to your browser to check the Renga Book. Your chapter will follow the last chapter:

fanstory.com/chapterdetails.jsp?id=42337

FIRST POET - starts with a three-line haiku 5/7/5 that sets the theme and season of the year.

THE SECOND POET writes a 7/7 stanza that links to the previous 5/7/5 chapter with the same theme and season of the year.

This pattern (5/7/5 stanza followed by a 7/7 stanza) continues on and on. Some renga books can be 100 stanzas or more.

To post your chapter, scroll down the renga poem page you are reading. Above the review box click on ADD CHAPTER.

The simplicity is thus poems strength. How we'd all like to relax in such a way. You have written an excellent poem for the Renga book and have also created am analogy with animals and humans. I enjoyed your image presentation and your well chosen words too. Best wishes, Alex

These Renga poems continue and will be creating quite a magnificent book by now. Yours, Lisa, is beautifully atmospheric and dreamy and makes me want to be with them under that majestic blue moon. Well done! Warm wishes Debbie
