It's depressing when people so much younger than I am are so much more accomplished!
You did an excellent job in getting to his thought process and inspiration for his writing. He expresses himself very clearly in his answers, which bodes well for his writing, and should help encourage others to read it, as you intended. His love of writing most definitely shows through in his answers, and that, too, is likely to be an enticement to readers.

I am out of sixes, but this interview deserves one for sheer enthusiasm. I have read most of Jacob's posts but admit to being behind for the past 4 weeks and now have a goal to catch up on what he has written lately. And I am glad you asked what kind of books he likes best, because now I can look for that as well. Maybe I will go look up 'odour control units' as well. Seems to sound like what they would put in the restrooms or maybe by the garbage bins.

All fine here. writing a lot. Did read Jacob's chapters - am all caught up except for today's. He does get you hooked, doesn't he?
Been making cookies for the guys who are going to fix the leak in my pool. Hopefully they'll go easy on me :)
Have wondered how you in your high heels handle this weather. We actually had snow and ice 2 days ago.

I know exactly what you are saying about the "youth" aspect! I was in my forties before I started getting super serious and committed about writing. And here he is, not even thirty yet, and so good!! How about that 100 - 150 books read/year?!! YIIIIIIKES!! That just blew me away!

You always pick the best-looking FS members for your interviews. In addition to talents, he is also good-looking. I am so glad there is a company working on odor control for restaurants. He'll probably be able to work out a schedule that allows time for writing. I like that his early inspiration was Harry Potter series. I am so disgusted at the way Rowling has been attacked even by members of the cast she made famous, just because she has expressed not-so-politically correct views. I am a fan of courtroom dramas--I'm reading one right now--so I'll probably be checking out Jacob's work. His thoughts about reviewing I definitely agree with. Your reviews are great. Although I question FanStory members interviewing other members, you certainly make it seem like you're in the room with the person you're interviewing. That's quite a talent. judi
