I know, right? I met up with one of the members on this site several years ago. She lived near my mother.
More recently, I met up with three others living in North Texas for lunch. It was lot of fun.

Hi Cecilia,
The story hadn't started as a celebration of their 50th as that's not until December, but Carol started a challenge write and it was centered around Sally's wedding as a fictional situation. I decided to hop in and make it more about her original wedding and the upcoming 50th celebration.

Hi, Evilynne, thank you for the six for me and Sally. It was fun to follow this prompt from Caroline and personalize it for what I was comfortable with. The positive spin on the interloper was just my way of being different, lol.

I like how Sally addresses Carol and says this is all her fault for writing the story. I also like your reference to "several Carols and Debbies." Great retort from Sandra, as well as the comment by Pam who mentioned the "stuff poetry is made of."
A nice touch getting in the Greek God and centaur. Also clever was Mousa's comment about Carol's writing prompt. I guess someone will have to write about why Jack was kept out of these proceedings. You did a great job with this. Did you interview anyone or go on what you knew of them from being on FS. Very well done, my friend.

Thank you so much for the six stars on this chapter. I'm glad the references to others on the site went well. I mentioned you a few times as well, and hope that settled well with you.
I did interview Sally to get pictures and details of her original wedding. I'm guessing she figured out what I was fishing for and why, but, it was still a bit of a surprise what the final product was.
I did mean to go back and clarify why he was left out. It was mainly because it was a reflection for Sally's benefit without the influence of her love being present. Thanks for pointing it out, though. Maybe I can go back and fix it with a line or two.
