nice emotionally, romantic verse
with cool imagery and smooth flow
one suggestion i have is to maybe put "to see you" on its own line making the stanzas quatrains... but just a thought...
lines are well-connected with no spag or typos...

In my novel 'Unspoken Traditions' I used a painting by Gustav Klimt. It was stolen during WW 2 by the nazis. I enjoyed reading this poem. The flow was perfect as was the imagery. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

Mine went by fast, too. Today was our youngest granddaughter's 10th birthday so we had fun with the kids then met up with old friends.
