Hello Debi,
I'm so glad that Kylie has a permanent stable home now. Frankly, raising a child after one has entered the golden years is quite the challenge, but no one is going to love her like her grandparents can. Thanks for sharing this gal.

Debi, this is a wonderful poem for Kylie. I read Rhonda's story and i am so happy for them and Kylie. The deserve to have her in their lives forever.
This sweet girl is very lucky to have such loving grandparents and you for her aunt.

Your great poem is ann inspiration to us all. I attended university with a huge man who's wife couldn't conceive. They decided to adopt. They picked a beautiful baby girl. When they went to pick her up, five little girls stood weeping. He asked why they were crying. They answered she's our sister.
He adopted all six.
Three months later his wife became pregnant.

    OMGosh, Thomas, What a heartfelt story. You have me in tears as I am such a lover of children. The fact that they adopted all six showed God what a wonderful couple they were. Therefore they had at least one of their own.

What a heart-warming story.
I am so glad there are such kind, loving people in this world.
I am sure the child is just as grateful as the adults.
This is a beautifully penned poem and I enjoyed hearing all the little details about family life.

Hi Debi.
This is a well done quatern that uses enjambment well. You have a strong repeating line. It is good that Kylie will have stability now. She is sooooo cute.

    LOL, Joan, you know me, as I will never use punctuation in my poetry. It is not me. Poems are suppose to take a small breath between lines anyway, so there is no reason for me to use any.

    I have been blessed to have a virtual relationship with Kylie for close to two years. Rhonda is an amazing grandma and such a great justice has been done with this ruling.

I just read their piece about them getting custody of their grandchild. To honor them and the little girl by writing a piece of your own is wonderful.

I just read Rhonda's poem about Kylie and while it's sad about the "mom", it is certainly heartwarming for a little girl to be rescued from what would have been a horrific life.
