Carol,
This is a great story and I liked both endings. The first one was filled with a lot of imagination and Ben was interactive in it. The second one was a little creepy, but still a great ending.
Well done my friend

iIt's funny how books are changing our lives one word at a time, and page by page. I really enjoyed this story it touched my heart. thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

You have two really wonderful endings for Ben's adventure. It is great to encourage children to read as this chapter does. You are so creative and write so much, I am really impressed by all you do.

I must admit, I like both possibilities, they are exciting, your books deserved to be read Carol, your creative skills are almost manic, and yet I understand them, I wrote four poems yesterday, I have to stop myself, I'm preparing to publish, the writing has to stop, heh hah, beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

Another one which deserves a six. I loved both endings - the first with the magic of writing his own story and expressing his creativity, but the second because there is so much mystery - who the girl was, the relationship they will have, why she was weeping - and how the librarian knew he'd be back. WOnderful. In your book, keep both endings - allow the children who read the story to think about both, One tiny nit-pick: "Below it, in looping silver letters, was a drawing of a girl he didn't know."
Looping letters makes it sound like script or words - but it was a drawing, so maybe express it slightly differently.

A second good story for your book. Kids will like this. There's just enough mystery to draw them in, without scaring them too badly. I like the way the story encourages kids to write their own stories. Blessings. Carol

Well of course, B is for Books for a great reader and writer! I am glad that the magical book showed Ben the magical adventure of reading and hopefully, he will know the girl's story and write about her. You showed us how books come alive in the reader's mind.

I'm enjoying your ABC's of stories. I think the will be very interesting for children. The choices of endings is unique and fun. My vote is for the second one. Lots of moving pieces in it.
Hugs,
Rhonda

Oh what a dilemma! I like both endings! Now what? I love the first ending because now Ben has seen what fun a book can be. A whole new world of imaginative stories, made up be authors. And he has written one now. In the second ending, the librarian and the girl were waiting for him. Now that leads to further adventures. I'll go with both endings!! 2 B stories! Lol. I really enjoyed this one, Carol. I can imagine all the illustrations and how fast the book would fly off the shelves. Well done, my friend. You are a marathan story teller!! Love you lots. This is going to be a very interesting series that you have started here. The word books is a very good choice for the B. I think there is nothing more special than going into a library smelling the mustine of a library from all the old works and perusing the shelves for a special Book that we would like to read. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece. Patricia.
