I don't look for errors, because I'm not one to critique editing, since as you know I'm rife with errors. My eldest had a recent tornado that just missed them. Thanks for sharing.

I love reading family tories. and I enjoyed read this .WE dont get such strong tornados here in India. sometime we have strong cyclonic wind.

I love your family stories. This one is a little scary with the F3 tornado. I haven't experienced anything like that. In California we complain when the temperature is 70 degrees lol

Oh my goodness Barbara, your memory is vivid here of that day and the chaos that ensued. I can't imagine being in such a devastating tornado, didn't the weather men give you an earlier warning. Aren't people so funny? When I was in Houston, we'd ask them about the dangers of tornadoes and hurricanes and they were not concerned but oh, mention the earthquakes in California and they would be shocked. No pun intended.
Anyway, out this way, we have so few snow plows etc but cities shut down and schools close when there is just a dusting of snow. Lol. Thanks for sharing!

I remember going to school in Illinois with snow piled to our knees. It makes me wonder. Thank you for the support.

With what we saw last week 24 hours after two tornados, I am a lot more worried about the news suggesting the possibilities of bad storms. Dogs (and other animals) are great at warning us about bad storms. Your son has a point about people being rather uninspired about weather warnings (unless it is snow). The picture of the destruction looks like it was very fortunate that no one died.
