Oh yes, what a good idea, writing a series of stories about emotions, such a good idea my friend, and yes, overcoming them is a battle, particularly the negative ones, beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

Thanks, Roy...sometimes we have to come in the back door to work out our own emotions...I think a few of mine are twisted within the lines I write. Thank you as always.

This is a great beginning to a series that will resonate with almost everyone, since we are all emotional beings. A few years ago, I attempted to write stories about emotions based on an internet prompt. I got as far as three never posted stories and stopped. Since you're a determined writer, I look forward to reading your creations.

It does take a toll when you delve into these emotions, especially if they have been a important part of the writer's thoughts and life. My hope is tht I can give something to the reader to take away into their own daily struggles... nothing substantial, just maybe the thought that they aren't alone.

"They always show up together, like the Three Musketeers - Misery, Despair, Heartbreak. This is my favorite line of the story. I good story about emotions too. The photo goes great with the story as well. Keep up the excellent work Carol!

I hope these little clips of emotions help someone get through the darkness... something I know we all have faced a time or two. Thanks so much.

The paragraph - I know you felt misery - is very relatable and they come back when least excpected. This is well written Carol, for me, I find that writing helps to push them back into the box, till next time. cheers

I like that the emotions all have human qualities and speak to the woman. I do hope you'll give her a name soon, as you continue this series. I like the book title, and the chapter title also. Blessings as you write, and please don't let these negative emotions take over your life. Carol

Wow, loved this story, exactly how I feel sometimes;"
"I know you felt Misery when she arrived," Melancholy whispered. "Despair wasn't far behind but stayed discreetly on the porch steps. As for Heartbreak - she never really leaves, even when she's not seen." Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

I thought everything you write is "dealing with emotions?" And if we tell the truth, is any writing worth reading that doesn't put an emphasis on emotion or the emotions the actions create? LOL. And you do it so well!
Thanks for sharing.

This is a delightful story of a person waking through the realization of the many emotions which are called forward to greet the new day. It is nice to see that Laughter still exists and is near.

Interesting, carol.
I was a touch confused at first but i soon got intot he swing of it.
I do like the way the woman doesn't have a name, just surrounded by very negative emotions each given an apltly descriptive humanised neme themselves.
Looking forward to where this is going.
