Thanks Wayne! No the committee didn't count them as word fortunately. Neither does any word count software I've encountered. It was a fun little technical challenge. Whatever will Bob do next? We'll find out soon...

I can't recall ever seeing anything technically like this on the FS site - and now everyone will be asking how you did it (but I won't because I don't want to be one more person doing so).
This is so freaking clever; I just shared it with my husband and he loved it. How cool is this? And funny: Bob kicked him out of the way/resurrect Bob...

Thank you very much Tom! I'm honored by the extra star. I was paranoid about hitting the word count exactly (especially after shredding half a dozen folks who missed it by a word or two) so was very careful on that aspect. Apparently not careful enough to stop Bob from blowing up though. Poor Bob.

Well this was different! How creative. I felt like I was reading one of those "go to page 10" books. Bob's adventure is hilarious! I love how he casually pushes past security like it's no big deal. This is such a fun read that had me grinning the whole way through. Well done!

Michael, I'm deeply honored to received a six from you! Thanks very much. I’d wanted to do this for a while and was just waiting for an actual crewed SpaceX launch, which finally happened yesterday. How fortunate that the perfect contest prompt showed up at the right time.
