Well, I think you are winning the battle if you have written this poem against this beast. And what better way to win than by exploring new ideas and new forms of poetry?
I wondered if you were addressing the monster here:
Monster I have lost the will to escape. (if so, a comma after Monster would help) I know punctuation is optional in poetry but it helps to clarify sometimes.

Well, a great poem on such a real subject. Everyone of us gets bored at some point in our life. We cannot deny that. It just happens. Then we must do something about it. Go skydiving, drive really fast, get the adrenaline moving in your body and you will wake up alive! It works. Keep up the great work!

Fortunately, I am never bored, there are never enough hours in the day to do everything. My two great loves are writing poetry and exercising and both take far too much time! Life is full of so many rich things, and having an inner attitude of appreciation can change your outlook. Thank you. I am on disability and I don't have a job. The boredom is real. IT is painful to be idle. My mind just wanders into dark places.

Actually, when we have writing in our blood, is there forever we will spend many hours writing things whether we publish him or not we still need to write and I hope you will continue to write because you are a good writer. Patricia.
