Interesting prompt and you nailed the poem. It can be very difficult to create a meaningful poem in so few words, because every word is so important!
I like that breath is associated with birth, life and renewal... so appropriate for the rising of the Lord. You may want to consider capitalizing he... as there is not only a personification but a proper name to be considered.
