I've spilled boiling grease in my crotch--that's gotta STING!!

Hopefully, if I go first, my husband can make my stew. Although he did that once when I was gone, and the dogs wouldn't eat it.

I have a full set of cast iron frying pans. They are hard to get a handle on but I refuse to use anything else. I really liked your poem. How long did it take you to stop getting eggshells in the pan? Me, it took about two years of trying. Good job.

A well written excellent poem about the trials and tribulations
of learning how to cook.

Great title for the cookbook "cooking for Old Dummies!"

Very well done--and I know what it's like cooking for one. A friend figured out a crock pot--cook food for three days--yeah, sure it's boring at times, but works.

Blue-Stubby, this is sweet! Almost edible! Your poem has has rhythm and it flows well. Simple and true, easy to read and it will inspire all those who have to deal with absent better halves or who just left home. I am sure she was right there encouraging you and laughing with you! Keep writing. Good job!
