Very nice poem. My husband still calls me his best friend after nearly 44 years -- of course that's not ALL he's called me during that time!

"Now a family and marriage to mend
And my wife has become my first true friend." -- my favorite stanza.

Good poem I guess my mind another direction based on the title. When I read Pickled Wisdom I formed the image of something sour or going sour. Still a very nice read well Done

i really like this poem. tis well written and makes one think about the meaning of true friendship. it also shows how one can change for the better. well done
