Ouch....
I have found people don't want to listen to the truth when it hurts.
Have you ever tried to tell a friend thier spouse is cheating on them? It's kind of like that one. with Domestic violence, the cops won't come out until they can utilize the chalk. :-( (been there)
This is a powerful poem. Made me sad.

Blue-Stubby "Under construction for some time" & you did it beautifully.Not a nurse am I, instead 13 yrs. in an ER, I've seen it all. Some we saved, some we didn't. This is heartfelt and sends a message to us all. Very well said. Very well done. G

Sad that many times we do not know what is going on just next door. Sad that children have to suffer. You did a great job of telling this story. The color of the type is a little hard to read. You might change that. Very well done. Thanks for reminding us to be more aware.

A brilliant eye-opener that drags the reader in before pounding them over their ignorant heads and pushing the message home.
I love the story (if you know what I mean- I'm sure you do) we need so many more of these talented attempts to send out the message so it is heard.
Well done for not releasing early, well worth the wait!
"If only we had known!" to a tee - Brilliant!
For your information only, and not a critique at all, the colour is barely readible on my p.c, that could be my p.c of course but it takes away the power of the piece somewhat!
Maybe it is intentional and if so it works that way as well, but then waht the **** do I know?
