This is a wonderful story and it is not often that our hero is one of our children. How blessed you are and how blessed he is. May you have many many more years to kiss your hero.

What a love story and emotional roller-coaster ride of hope and despair.
The baby showed courage, you showed even more to allow this new surgery, and God blessed you all.
Very well written, with wonderful insights and joy.

This is a touching account of a miracle and will to live. I thoroughly enjoyed the tense account. Perhaps I even recognise the writing. That aside, this child is indeed any mother's hero. He pulled through against all odds.
Well written. Best wishes for the contest. Smiles. luv jada

Hi the author

Miracles do come in many different forms, shapes and sizes and this one appears to have been larger than it may have seemed at the time. Well written and a beautiful story.

This gave me chills. How old is Johnny now? What a wonderful story you have shared. I know how agonizing the waiting during a surgery like your baby underwent can be. How wonderful to have such a miracle outcome. well told

This work has reached the exceptional level

I loved this account. It is breathtaking and so emotional. It is an example, optimism and so much struggle by the mother for the life of her son.It is also qa wonderful fight on the part of the son who ,awake during the operation, finally triumphed.Reflect -this is a lesson for all of us who often complain about banalities.
