Carol, this is very, very funny, and a great entry to the micro-fiction contest. (PS - love the artwork!). I wasn't expecting the ending, yeah, sunshine in Florida!

    I was reminded when I bought tomatoes (they come from Florida this time of year) how the crop had been frozen by the snow and ice...Prices are sky high. Thus the prose popped into my head. Smiles, Carol

    It snowed in Florida this year...quite a bit...it was a shocker for those on vacation trying to get away from the snow. Glad you liked it. I'd love to rub your skinny little face in the snow...right after you flipped me with one of your moves to the ground...I'd be like the kid on your knee. HAHAHAHA

Excellent story. I could almost believe this one after the winter everyone has had this year. The imagery was excellent. That would be my luck go all the way to Florida for a beautiful vacation and it snows for the first time in 40 years! Good luck in the contest, Shirley

This is good. Snow in Florida. I couldn't believe it. My daughter hates the cold and just moved to Pensacola and they were talking about snow. She couldn't believe it.
