You are definitely on a roll. I enjoyed this one as much as the other. Now you are in competition with yourself! Very clever and I can definitely relate to the last line. Great entry for the contest. You are making it hard for me with two entries. Now I'll have to pick one over the other.

Ah, she knows what ages women from sad experience - what a sad story, Carol - and they, of course, would never believe at their age that they might ever end up like her - we only learn from our own experiences, not the wisdom of those who've already learned the hard way. A most interesting take on this contest's theme. Brooke

Another great funny one. Yeah, that alcohol will do it to you every time. Being twenty-one sure ran away fast. I really enjoyed this one. Great job.

This is a great story. Such fun to read and I found myself nodding when I read the lines 'are they getting younger or are we getting old?' Time does fly but humour is a great life saver.

This is equally entertaining as your contest entry, Carol. I loved her ending statement. Creme de menthe and Irish sounds like a very interesting drink.

Perfect one for my birthday. I'm not getting old, I just drink too much:). This is also good mico-fiction with the good twist at the end. No errors spotted.
