What a great story! I liked how the author described the empty apartment. The old song, the faint scent of obsession, it was all so poignant and sad. I know I had tears in my eyes. What a joyous ending, such a nice surprise!

You managed to get an upbeat ending out of some pretty sinister words. And I have to admit I didn't expect the ending. It was nice to have something good finally happen to that man. The writing held up; I didn't see any Spags.

Lovely story. Emotional, engaging, action packed. Good dialog, the songs felt like an actual song. Felt for the characters. Well done, loved it. Happy ending was believable too, though it could have just as easily ended badly.

One big huge mistake. You just told everyone she's still alive.
This story is let down by the following line. Their faces were plastered on every television screen along with the woman who had identified them. I just can't see this happening, especially as they were notorious enough for the police to later put her into witness protection. You could have had a mole in the police force, or even had one of the original shooters recognizing a famous local artist. Just a thought.
But on the whole, this was a story I enjoyed.

Wow, cool story! It produces quite a roller coaster of emotions. I enjoyed the intensity, good dialogue, smooth flow. The only slight issue I had was that Janna had scars already formed on her face. I wasn't thinking that enough time had passed since the funeral for her to be fully healed from her injuries, but re-reading I guess it was plausible. Nice ending!
