Ooooh, a very moody piece. I thought this was very well written, especially for such a short write. excellent!
While I think of it Susan, have you seen the documentary film by Robert Redford called "Buck"? A must see for a horse lover!!

Susan,
Your story is very well written for flash fiction. In a minimum amount of words for a maximum effect you managed to establish characters, setting, a story line, conflict and resolution. Your narrative is very good in your story. Your descriptive writing is great in your flash fiction tale. I immensely enjoyed your flash fiction tale. I'd recommend you horror and flash fiction story to other readers. The art work is wicked cool. Please have a fabulous day.
Melissa.

Interesting. I have learned something new today thanks to your short story. I had never heard of a kelpie before.
Your story is quite dramatic. Good job. JW

A lovely little script about a sea horse. The story is wall described and written well. The imagery and the script has been structured and displayed and easy for the reader to read

Very well done. Excellent descriptive prose that keeps us wondering where you are going with this. Then you surprise with heartache and hope. Really enjoyed. Dan :))

Hi Dan! How are you? I hope you are happy and well...unlike me, the tortured nitwit! lol! I thank you for this kind and most welcome review. It's a thrill each time you approve! HUG, Susan

Susan, your story is both a haunting and fascinating journey into the tortured mind of an artist. There are numerous poetic lines and imagery in this one. The ending is quite chilling. I know the word "drug" is a regional dialect (Southern/Midwestern), but "dragged" is probably clearer. Blessings, Hector

I enjoyed reading this very short story.
The voice is loud now. (I wonder if the the 'now' should be at the beginning of the sentence for a more dramatic effect. Now, the voice is loud.)

HI Roberta! No, but thank you! For thinking I did draw this odd picture! I do draw horses tho! Someday if I ever feel better I am going to put some more art on FA. If you like, check out my two there now? A painting and a drawing? I have the same name there. I am thrilled with your kind enthusiasm! Many hugs young lady! Susan
