There is so much pain in the disease, and much in the surrounding loved ones. I relate to this poem because I too watched my loving sister pass into the hands of angels after so much suffering. We yield to God's judgement that it is time. Your poem is comforting.

This is so delightfully simple and neat, it states what i am sure you regard as an absolutre certainty. This is stressed in a mixed metre poem where so much of it is written in trochaic rather and iambic metre. The stressed syllable that begins many of the lines adds strength to the statement contained therein.

This is delightfully inspiring as death is not an end, but only a beginning. The rhyme and meter are fluid making it sound melodic when read aloud. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Such soothing words for a time of great sadness. The seventh line seemed a bit off to me because of the increased syllable count, but the rhyming is brilliant and the message so sensitively conveyed. Quite enjoyable. ...ec

I am very sorry for the loss of your sister. You have written a beautiful tribute to her following her days living in this earthly kingdom. Praise to God whose heart is filled with joy when His children are with Him forever.
(I love the picture you included because many decades ago, when I had my first horse, we would go on trail rides along the beach. You have rekindled a lot of wonderful memories of those youthful days.)

Sweet and soothing poem. Lovely, heart-warming message as a tribute poem. It would even work as an epitaph. I think the only thing I would change is the line Her sun has set, now it's night. I would put a semi-colon after the word "set" as there are two independent sentences there.

Dear author, your love and the loss you feel due to the unsuccessful battle against cancer that your sister fought hit very close to home. My sincere condolences! I believe, however, in the end she was the ultimate Champion and I love the image that you project of her riding along the beaches for all time.

Thank you so much for your heartfelt review of my poem. I really appreciate your beautiful comments about my sister. The poem came to me as I was visiting her at the hospital where she was staying before she died. I was sad to see her so sick but glad that she was for sure going to heaven.
