This is a very funny limerick and you have produced a very worthy entry to the Write A Limerick Competition. I wish you luck :) Tina

This was a well written and fun Limerick. The best I have read so far.

You have the syllable count correctly presented. I imagine this will do very well.

By the way, why did us Irish get the blame for this kind of work lol

Thank you, kate. As I see it we Irish get the CREDIT for for such work. Limericks are fun, clever, and harmless. I'm delighted you enjoyed. X

From what I've read in this contest, this comes closer to the bawdy aspect of limericks than others have. Thank you for your work.

Written in the true spirit of the limerick. Naughty, clever, proper syllable count for the contest, and the best contest offering, without question. Well done. :) Nancy

Thank you, Nancy. If more people wrote true limericks once in a while, we'd all have more to laugh about. X

We spend far too much time taking ourselves seriously. Mine's been called "obscene" once. How are your comments going?

One reviewer mentioned 'raunchy', but in a forgiving way. In the past though, I've seen voters boost 'clean' limericks over the bawdy. These people are making me tired.

Well, some of the guys (Modee et al) who have sharp senses of humor have shared the laugh.

But I even got my grammar corrected once. Who cares whose hand went into his pocket? :D

A perfect limerick in all its glorious bawdiness. You got my vote, author. I love a good Irish limerick and I hope the contest opens soon.

Thank you, Indy! So many enteries don't have the correct cadence, nor the bawdiness. I'm glad there are still lasses like you, who understand. X

That nasty boy from East Nipping, didn't know this when he was slipping, his rod in the pod, that she was into flipping.

Although this is kind of on the raunchy side, you did a good job in getting your point across. Or I have my mind in the gutter. Ha-ha Kat

What a wonderful limerick - the rhymes are strong and fanciful and contribute to the humor of the poem.
love the consonance of L sounds in the second line.
When read aloud, this poem has the inflection I expect from a true limerick. Clever rhyming, witty and ribald humor and a great sound - can't ask for more in a limerick :-) Brooke

Thank you, Brooke. Limericks are harder to craft than it appears.

This was a perfect limerick. It had the rhythm the humor and was a bit bawdy, as supposed to be.
Good luck in the contest.

This is funny, an enthusiastic boyo never hurts, either.

Good form, rhyme and pace.

Thanks for sharing, made me laugh.
