I agree with your views (though that is not necessary for enjoyment of a work) and I marvel at the way you pulled all this together. It is a tremendous exhibition of skilled poetry. Thank you for offering that term from Scrabble. You added to my vocabulary!

Thank you Jim. It is definitely not easy to pull all that together. Glad you liked the poem and took the time to read it. Always happy to have someone learn something.

You did a great job!

Institutions (libretti)
I think you mean liberty
I hope Biden serves another 4 years. If not him, anybody but Trump.
Anyway, I think you did a good job with the form. Good entry for the Abecdarian Poem writing prompt contest.

Comment from Douglas Goff
This seems patriotic yet prophetic. Seems to have some undertows of impending bad pathways. Or maybe I am just reading my own sense of doom and gloom into it. Not sure.
Regardless, well done utilization of using all the letters of the alphabet. That in itself takes some talent!
Good job.

This is a very interesting and well written ABeCdarian poem you have penned about America and what it is supposed to be. America is God's land and those that think they are in power have tried to destroy it and people on this earth. Thank you for sharing. Teri

Excellent job writing this type of poem, I cannot imagine that it was easy. Sometimes just starting with each letter correctly is tough but also ending with the correct letters must've taken a lot of thought and hard work. The content of your poem is also very good. Good luck in the contest!

An absolutely beautiful Abecdarian poem, and just in time for Independence day! Beautiful presentation and picture, I loved how the text appears in the colors of the flag. I can imagine how difficult it was writing in this form, never tried it myself - but you've delivered with feet to spare!
Happy Holiday,
Fondly, Y.

This is a clever write and quite a hard task to achieve, but you managed to succeed with this Abecdarian here. I enjoyed the sentiments too as America is going through some troubling times just now, pulling together for the greater good is what is needed, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Reviewing these late my friend, yet , good to see you continuing with forms I know are not as easy as they seem. The Abecdarian is not an easy poem at all, if for the fact, because of the nature of the structure one can get that continuous stop start that kills the flow. But! I see the relevance and the carefully chosen wording of this poem. It uses words unusual to sight, yet identifiable to ear. The form is excellently delivered, and work has gone into this deserving of the rating I give.
A very well done Treischel.
Good luck with this.
MY best wishes.

After reading your author's notes, I did not expect to find your photograph of a motorcycle. But it is a symbol of freedom. Your use of the Abecedarian Poem and the Alphabet form is amazingly complex and the color scheme is just the right accent. Thanks for the glossary as well. Here's to "Yankey alacrity"! This work has to win in the contest!! Cheers- Joan

This is a clever abcdarian with added spice. The final letter also follows the same pattern, but there is a visual side to this one as well as each stanza represents the US flag, the stars and stripes. If you let you eyes go out of focus and drop down through the stanzas you can see it blowing in the wind. Well, I could!
