I'd just end it with 'I love these calls.' That's your punch line.

Very funny. I like the way you have the stage set up. I can see her better than I can him. Don't exactly know why.

'Phone Sex.' Very Good. Didn't know there was something like that. Although it is done on social media all the time, I believe. Should try it myself sometime.

Womem and men get top dollar for this organized job. I talking ten dollars a minute! That's what I overheard. Don't know from personal experience. :-) (heavy breathing)

Ha, the games people play for fun. It's probably a release from needing to be so 'proper' in public for her. I misread this at first as a couple because I didn't read the ages properly and had to adjust. Wasn't sure about the turn to nasty insults as amusing, but she clobbered him nicely in return, so that sold it. The sight gags were the best part and gave it its pacing. Excellent timing all through. It's the sort of skit that could achieve a different life depending on the actors. Fun write and I know you had fun doing it. Cheers :) Alyx.

I did enjoy it. Never thought of it as a game though. He's a young man, she's old. But it could work with same ages. LOL Good to hear from you again.

(laughing) Well, she sure did play with him in a unexpected way. No worries.

Dear Shari, You gave me a good laugh tonight. This was so funny. I love the old lady. It reminds me of stuff we did at slumber parties as a kid. I never could do it. I would get too embarrassed and start laughing. :) Thanks for sharing your talent with us, Shirley

Gee, I never had that kind of fun. Actually, I would have felt guilty! It's nice being old and fantasize all I want to. LOL

Oh we never had tht kind of fun. We were to good of Baptist girls. We would call people and say "I know who you are and I saw what you did." Isn't that silly? I think that was on a scary movie. LOL We ended up sacring ourselves. :) Shirley

This is such a funny script, Shari! You set the scene perfectly here. That clever ole gal handled that phone call beautifully. Excellent work!! :)

ROFLOL! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

I can't believe people actually make these kinds of calls. I always got the "breather" that wouldn't say anything before I hung up. I often wonder what would have happened next if I had just started the "breathing" too. "Ahhhhh" or maybe a hacking cough. LOL LOL LOL!!!

Loved this read!!

Edit: next to the fruit ball (bowl)

You are welcome. Don't you think that mostly older women work for these 900 numbers??
    LOL! MN :)

you are such a wicked wanton spits! This one was a riot! It would be such fun to have a couple of total ham actors shredding this one!

Wouldn't it though. As a said before, you're welcome to use it.
My spell check doesn't work worth a damn. It points out the words but won't change it in the script. Thanks for catching it.

:))) Are you doing any theatre at all at the moment? I just saw a GREAT production of "Man of La Mancha" last night, in a tiny theatre. LOVE it when something's really GOOD! :)))

I wish. But I'd rather write plus taking care of hubbie's health problems is time-consuming. I'm studying the tarot cards again.

Forgot to add I love that musical. Saw it ages ago and have all the music. You're right. It's thrilling to see something magical. Have you seen The Putnam Spelling Bee or something like that. An amateur group nearby performed it and did an excellent job. Les Miz, the musical, was disappointing after seeing the Broadway touring production.

I played Aldonza 25 years ago ... I can still sing it ... never heard of the spelling bee thing but I'll keep an eye out for it! I never did like Les Miz I'm afraid!
