I enjoy reading this story in poetry form. A harder task than writing in prose. Since Leslie let Jonathan do all the talking, I suspect her knowledge can be written on a thumb. Now, you've cleverly introduced an inner conflict in Thomas. This will be interesting.

This story is getting too sophisticated for me. I think my lifestyle is casual and more relaxed. Maybe I'm kind of airhead. I'm not sure why. Maybe that's how life is suppose to be.
Well, I must say, your details are excellent. I like dialogue, however, the chosen writing style is working out pretty good. Great job.

Titan, you have described the scene and the action well, but you have chosen to do it in rhyme. Some of the rhymes seemed to be forced a little, and a couple were clean misses.

Thanks. Because you provided no examples of poorly rhymed words, I can assume you feel comfortable with your rating. Peace!

Yes, quite comfortable. Sorry I neglected to point out the misses I noted. The first was binocular/scholar and the second was endure/pursue. Be well.

... And the story continues with good rhymes, a pleasant rhythm and inviting characters. Will we get to know more? I'll stay tuned for the next episode

I've missed a lot of the story obviously. I wish my eyes would let me go back and read the other chapters, macular degeneration really limits one's reading ability. This is well-written needless to say. Helium says they can find a publisher for you in three easy steps? I self=published my life story with Branddoubleday being the printer. It did turn our awesome for one with a 7th grade education. I need a publisher that helps with the promotion and they used to do a precentage where the publisher got so much, which allowed them to absorb the cost up front and then the author gets a percentage. I have been contacted by Zoe Publishing Co out of Michigan (Christian publishing company) that is looking at publishing my short stories of my childhood. Thanks for being a big part in this awesome time of my life. God loves you and so do I.

Thanks, Evelyn, for reading and commenting on some of the parts of my Leslie Ann saga. As for the publishers, my suggestion would be to contact your local radio station and persuade those in management to promote your book and your story. What better coverage for them than touting the achievements of a 86-year-old woman who's been to "hell and back" literally and is still very viable. As for being a part of your life during this time, I look at it as G-d doing what He is known for doing. He directs the feet of each of us; it's up to us to go where He leads. I wish you sustained peace and abundance. Dossie

If Mary Ann is smart she will forgo the planning and take action. The longer she waits the more involved they will become. She needs to open her husbands eyes to the truth and what Leslie is up to. Good job. Nancy

Dossie,
This is an engaging and riveting chapter of Leslie Ann's attempts to snare Jonathan. Thomas' detective work is proving interesting and providing Mary Ann with the ammo for her plan. I look forward to the next release.
