Well written. A bit different in form and tempo but very enjoyable. Sad
message that happens much too often. Hope you are enjoying good weather.
Smiles, Robin :)

Lovely photo once more taken by you that complements your poem well. This is a nice form you used and not so difficult perhaps. I don't think he looks like he is up to anything.

Hi, Treischel,
This is an excellent poem with excellent flow and rhyme and unusual rhyme pattern consistently followed. It offers a great compassionate moral action which we should consider more often. I liked this poem.

But when I get seen,
Considered obscene.
It's really so mean.
Please, don't make a scene!
Oh but what did you do, Tom? You took his picture and made his privacy public. LOL for shame on you.

Treischel +a wonderful to the point poetry where the photo has a place~ going with curiosity of a person's extra self. I liked the give and take of the social concerns here~ bringing me to have empathy for those in similar situations... a microcosmic of stylish declarations that aren't always understood. It very well could be that one wants to feel good while being creative~ a Halloween
sort of way. Or maybe one wants to declare through rebellion
a sense ego. People are important. We're all in this together.
I think that this one could be sixed by extending through with another stanza or more. Thanks for sharing. Great work! uncleJohn

Thank you UncleJohn. We never know about a person until we get to know them.

There are instances where one is an outsider through no fault of their own and some where it is a deliberate choice. Glad you pretty much left it up to the picture, not choosing sides allowing the reader to do so. The guy looks at Hyde. Hate to say it, but I would probably judge the book by the cover and keep my kids close.

I don't like people that say they don't fit in all the time. If you do things to standout... There is a reason. It's not a matter of looks. It must be a personality problem. However, you made it into a good poem. Excellent work.

I really enjoyed reading this poem. You did a great job. Yes you are right people can be cruel when people are different. I find it to be so sad, but it happens daily in schools across the country. Sararb :)

An eerie illustration;
As one is uncertain of the circumstances surrounding this scene, your well-penned thoughts assist in putting this situation into perspective, as we all wish to be accepted.

Oh, you are so right-on with this message, Mr. 'T'! Anyone that has ever seen the touching, heartwarming story of Joseph Merrick, better know as "The Elephant Man" knows exactly where you're coming from. People are cruel, especially teenagers these days. So sorry, kiddies, but it's true. Many of you are a cruel, mean and vicious lot!
Great job sir, and I applaud your efforts to draw attention to such atrocities!
